Many times I remind myself about the sweet fruit of shabar (patience). It's the ability to hold ourselves from doing something wrong.
I think, there is a strong correlation between shabar and being forgiving. Both require our strength to resist the internal force of resentment. Do you have similar thought or experience with mine?
Patience is not the ability to wait. It's the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. - Quote by Unknown
The way to heaven is really long. There will be innumerable obstacles along the way. tears and blood will be the ultimate price. So prepare yourself for the worst scenarios.
When our anger nearly burst, it's better for us to do shabar. We better off forgive anyone who has caused that chaotic situation. When we are not yet have any legal spouse, we should be shabar. There is a strong urge to get into the ocean of obscenity, falling down to the zina valley, due to our aloneness.
There will be jealousy, even anger of seeing others walking down the street with their own spouse, hand in hand. Shabar can be the only cure. performing shabar in prevention of zina and angsty, as well as in searching a potential significant other. That's the way our test is conducted.
Truly, as long as you believe in Allah, the Lord of the universe, and do not transgress His limitation, you will be okay. It's no matter if you are being single. There will be no judgement to the status. Whether married or single, you are destined to do your best. Remember, this is the age of the darkness and fitnah (trial) is everywhere, so be careful in everything you do.
You must be patient in carrying your obedience. You worship Allah and that will last till your very last breath. Be trustworthy, be confident and reliable. This will charge you immense energy.
Accept yourself, the whole you. do your best. Dig your potentials. Forgive others. Surely, Allah guarantees you with a noble status. He will never let you down. he knows everything hidden in you. Nothing hidden from His sight. Turn to Him. Read His verses. You'll get your strength back. Nothing to lose. You'll have a peace of mind.
